100 BANNERS FOR 100 YEARS
You are Invited to Paint our town Air Force Blue!
On April 1st, 2024 the Royal Canadian Air Force turns 100 years young. Our Air Force is a world renowned institution known for excellence and innovation, peacekeeping and humanitarian relief. Over 486,740, men and women have given their lives to the service of their Country, Grandmothers and grandfathers, fathers and mothers, daughters and sons, brothers and sisters. Our neighbors and colleagues - Canadians All!
Join in our, once in our lifetime celebration! 413 Wing RCAF Association wants the residents of Quinte West to show their Blue pride and purchase commemorative banners to honor family members, friends and colleagues. Everyone is invited to honor an RCAF member, with a Centennial Banner. Each banner will bear the likeness of the honoree, their trade, and the name of the donor - all set in a beautiful Air Force blue background. A Banner booklet will be published which will contain the Photos and bios of each of the 100 plus banners we hang next spring. IN that way the history of the commitment and dedication of RCAF members will be shared with all who visit our city in 2024. Imagine 100 Plus air force blue banners lining the streets of Quinte West, each bearing the likeness and name of one of Quinte West’s own Airpersons past and present. To order your banner for it to hang along the streets of Quinte West starting April 1st, 2024, please click on the link below to download and complete the application form by November 1st 2023. All applications must be received by November 1st, 2023. To ensure they all get printed in time for the Air Force’s 100 Anniversary on April 1st, 2024.
